What role does the Blackshark play in the Sawmi's current activities?
The Sawmi adamently insists that he has finally rid himself of the vile attentions of the Blackshark.

However, to his extreme regret, the Sawmi says he did make an ill-advised agreement with that extremely uncouth shark to transmit the first verse of the "Lettuce Sutra," which he claims (see pages 93 and 94 of his book) was given to him by the Blackshark.

Lettuce Sutra? All the Swami will say is "You send me the lettuce, and I'll send you the sutra." (See Appendix B in the book).
